High blood pressure can also be termed as hypertension.

This disease is commonly known to put people at risk of getting other diseases such as stroke and heart disease.

However, to have control of high blood pressure, you should avoid eating foods that worsen the condition.

The meals happen to be the main cause for triggering the high blood pressure when taken on a daily basis.


Sugar and salt are known to be the main causes of high blood pressure.

People with hypertension need to limit the use of these ingredients.

1. Canned beans

Canned beans are packed with salt to aid preservation.

This is due to its high composition of proteins.

Hence, people with high blood pressure are advised to avoid eating the canned beans as it may trigger hypertension.

2. Premed soup

This soup contains a lot of salt as salt is used to bring out the taste of the veggies used.

However the quantity of salt is always put in excess, and this makes it not good for people with hypertension.

3. Packed and processed meat

Packed and processed meat need a large amount of salt to withstand the preservation process.

In this case, people with hypertension should avoid taking the processed meat due to its high quantity of salt.
